Sometimes you need a break, a pause, even just a moment to take a look.. a real close look; past, present and future. It helps to gain that fresh perspective and energy. Because you are the captain of your ship, and no one else can maneuver it for you. Because you dont want to go where they want you to reach. Because you want to go where your heart wants you to be.

And in that pause if one can be oneself without the attachment of anything surrounding us, just plain beautiful silence and peace - the heart knows no other bliss.

Whenever I see a street performer I wonder what happened to all those hobbies and extra curricular skills I had. And I feel sad that I do not play the piano anymore or sing in the church choir or draw and paint like I used to. And I am reminded how much of the real me is getting extinct! :)
