I spend most of my time, day and night, imagining,
Doesn't matter if I am awake or sleeping.
Thinking, of the possibilities that can be,
For my loved ones, the world and for me.

As though my life is devoid of any lucidity,
At times, I even have to snap myself into reality.
But yet I am comfortable in my unreal world,
I dont think I ever want to stop dreaming.

Reach for the stars, the limit is the sky,
Dare to dream, Live life full we are told.
Yet into a world of envelopes and perimeters,
We are caught, weighed, chained and tied.

I wonder if all our dreams are like a childs,
Only to smile through lifes many journeys.
One destination to another, eternal quests,
Some day the journey ends, but the dreams remain.

Will they ever be realised or be gone with us,
I wonder if we are willing to try and do what it takes.
Maybe even then we may be known forever as dreamers,
But in the end, atleast we know we tried, we dared.


I remember one of the loveliest cards I ever got in my life.. It was for my 15th birthday. "Wish upon a star, and your dreams will come true." it said. And the person who gave it to me wrote, "may there always be enough stars in your sky, that all your dreams may come true. never stop dreaming."
I dont think I ever stopped, and hope I wont.

I travelled across the vast seas and mighty mountains,
In silent quest for that one thing we cannot do without,
That one thing we need always to survive.

Finally I found it, almost, it was there in an instance,
As if it came out of nowhere, as it usually does,

Beauty dazzled from everything that I saw there that morning,
The enchanting pink leaves, the lively green grass, nature fully alive,
The welcome winding path, unfolding the mystery with each bend,
The more you walked, the more it engulfed you, the journey never-ending,
Slow down, submit yourself to the me, it seemed to say.

The dead leaves on the ground didnt want to be left out either
Wind breathed second life into them and they danced gently with eachother,
As though it was their last meeting, a second chance,
With their hollow noises penetrating the deadly calm,
Wishing they could have done more yesterday.

Can there be a reason for the paths that we tread,
Do we only strive for charm, glory and all things material?
Are we willing to follow, be told and led for life,
Or is it just fate and destiny and all those things already written,
Do we all live with a purpose or is there a purpose we live for?

Each woman is far from average in the daily heroics of her life, even though she may never receive a moment's recognition in history.

The fastest way to change society is to mobilize the women of the world.
