I'm back, and I'm Talking

When she tagged me with a tag called "the talking images", it sounded perfect. But then, as I attempted it, I was lost for words (as usual).. and lost for images as it did not match my own images. So this took a while to piece together with what I had..The only picture thats not my own is the picture of the person who tagged me, which I had to borrow..(pssst..shes gorgeous..)

Most desired celebrity

Gaius Julius Caesar
I dont know if any one has ever celebrated Caesar in recent times, but he is one character I have been amazed and intrigued by. The class, the honor, the love and the power "..hear me for my cause, and be silent that you may hear." I think anything from that period still inspires me, like Maximus from Gladiator or Asterix and Obelix.

Want to do this some day

I already did this, thrice. So something I really want to do next is to fly a plane. Feel the G force, and be in control (hopefully!)

Want to visit this place

Where the earth meets the sky..
I am still searching for this place.. I am still on the road..It seems never ending, but I am loving the journey..

Random favorite

The Sunflower..somehow brings me random thoughts: happiness, brightness, color, love, smile, laugh, joy, beauty, God, simplicity..

I was tagged by this smart and spritely person

Kusum

If you are lost for words, please feel free to attempt this tag..

Antony's speech still gives me goose bumps, in fact I used it for an Elocution Contest. Where the earth meets the sky, sounds like a never ending quest, hope you find it one day :) I always wondered why you liked the sunflower, now we know :) Great tag doc!!

Nice tag MC!
I found the place where the road meets sky.. In an interior part of Sabah(east malaysia)..there is a road called Tambunan - keninagau and at one point the road looks directly at MT Kinabalu( the highest mountain in SE Asia)

Well i am reading your blog for the first time.(Referred by Maya)
I was impressed by what i read in your profile and in the 'about me' space.
I am journeying too. The journey is what gives me pleasure. We tend to leave many things unnoticed in our
journey, which may seem trivial but which can teach us a lot.
PS I am scared of heights.
I like your taste of music too. I am a pink floyd fan.

Nice one bro. It is nice to see you back.

Julius Caesar - Et tu, Brute?

Feel the G force - The easiest way to do this is to become the President :-)

Still searching for this place... Try Google :-)

Sunflower - Vincent Van Gogh ;-)

U know..your sunflower is brilliant. :) It is my fav flower too by the way.

And your pic has this lovely effect of cheering me up when ever I feel a bit down. :) And then like Maya above, I need to put on my shades as well.

First thanks, for doing this and hence for stopping the melodramatic sobbing whcih had become a habbit everytime I was here :). I am so glad you are back to the blogosphere with this tag *Beaming*

Now Julius Caesar, antony, Brutus, _Asterix_ and_Obelix_. Wow!

Do you know I hate Asterix?

You are loving the journey, and may you love it more as you go ahead, oh somehow journeys now remind me of the wonderful poem Ithaka I read on Ganjaturtle, like it says :

Ithaka gave you the marvelous journey.
Without her you wouldn't have set out.
She has nothing left to give you now.

Somehow I never thought of the sunflower like this, and now I have a refreshed perspective of this flower.

And now about my picture * smiling from ear to ear*

How did you know I wear pink a lot? And Doc I am working on that double chin I seem to have developed.

:) Thanks again for doing this.

Ave, fellow Roman!
Roma Victor, Venus Vitrix, Pax Romana down the Via Augustus and all that, eh?
Julius Caesar is a great inspiration for Moi... one day I intend to get an iron bust of Julius made and put it on top of my desk. You are looking at THE Romaphile here....

I see you love bungee-jumping.... Wapple! ;) Real men, like Yours Truly, do HALO drops and sky-diving!

BTW, back to see you back in blogistan, Lord MindCurry.... You have come from the cold very much like Maximus Tigris who came back from to avenge his family in this life or the next, eh? :P

For Rome and our General Julius Caesar,

Marius Sandrocottus,
Tribune of the Western Army.

hey ..nice to see u back..and a nice warm psot to greet us too..tths adouble treat ..yes I seem to feel most of ur posts eminate warmth and cosiness ..probably thts why u like sunflower ..well I dnt have favourities in flowers I love all of them but sunflower has always had a deeper connotation for me ..for the simple reason that when I was small and life was much more simpler and easier and my mom used to take my face in her hands ..and she used to call me her sunflower and cuddle me and i used beam with happiness and a surge of joy .as if it was a special phrase that I needed to preserve for life ..
