Four-Ever

The 4-mula tag, courtesy Silverine

4 jobs I’ve had:

As far as I can remember, there is nothing that I havent tried my hand in, except probably fly - which remains one of the things to do before I die.
1. Making others happy - This was one of the first recognisable jobs I had, and my customers were very satisfied. Now I do this only part-time.
2. Seafood export - I didnt last very long here as most of the consignments were either delivered to my friends houses or cooked at home.
3. Healthcare - IT consulting: This is a passion, currently.
4. Surgeon - This is a very demanding and high output job, and I am loving it.

4 films I could watch again and again:

This is going to be a strange list for most people. The fact is there are over a 100 movies I have watched, and can watch, again and again. Currently, I am watching these again, again and again-
1. Rang De Basanti - There is something so natural about the characters in this movie, perhaps because I can relate to each of them in some way.
2. About A Boy - I always thought and still think I am an island.
3. Braveheart - History always teaches you what you need for the future.
4. Notting Hill - I don't know why, but I love this one.

4 places I’ve lived in:

1. Kerala - God's country in the hands of Dogs'. Born and lived most of my childhood here.
2. Mangalore - Where I learnt about life, people and the world along with medicine
3. Singapore - Very briefly
3. Bangalore - Where I became the person that I am today.

4 TV series I like(d) to watch:

1. Seinfeld - Funniest characters
2. Fresh Prince of Belair
3. Mind Your Language
4. Friends

4 places that I’ve been on vacation to (and enjoyed):

1. Vythiri/ Wayanad/ Kerala
2. Goa
3. Canada
4. Dubai

4 websites I visit everyday:

1. My Blog Stops
2. News sites
3. www.f1.com
4. www.iamsoboredanddontknowwhattodo.com

4 books I’d love to read again and again:

1. The Last Don/ The God Father
2. God Of Small Things
3. The "For Dummies" Series
4. Seven Easy Steps To The Forbes List (still at first!)

4 favorite dishes:

1. Pastas with cheese :)
2. Thai Green Curry
3. Seafood anything
4. Chocolate anything

4 places where I’d like to be right now:

1. A misty mountain top overlooking rest of the earth..alone. taking deep breaths..
2. A long white sandy beach..lying down..staring at the sun
3. A green rice-field..in the middle of it..nothing else for miles together
4. On top of the tallest building on earth..

4 people I’m gonna tag:

1. you..
2. you too..
3. you also..
4. and you..

:)

When I tagged you I was waiting to see the picture you would put to make this post picture perfect like other posts :) Lovely picture and amazing that you could stand in the midle of the road to take it!!

most of the consignments were either delivered to my friends houses or cooked at home LOL an uncle had the same busines with the same results..:)) The side effects? A lifelong hatred for frozen seafood. Wet thermocol tastes better.

So you are a surgeon doc? Pray tell me which hospital? After that 'incident' with Ms Scissors I shall avoid the said institution by at least a mile :| :)) Glad you are loving it though, that makes all the difference.

I liked Braveheart and Notting Hill too :) And I love 'Mind your Language" ! And Becker too :)

Pls lend me the Book No. 4 if you ever finish it and make it to the list :))

"www.iamsoboredanddontknowwhattodo.com" This is one site I will never visit :)) I am never so bored that I don't know what to do he he :p
Though I visit and www.howtoblogatworkandgetawaywithit.com and www.howtolookbusy.com etc very often :|

And www.f1.com? Now that proves that beneath that surgeon's mask lies a regular guy :))

This was lovely doc :)

After that 'incident' with Ms Scissors I shall avoid the said institution by at least a mile

Good one MC. :)

. Making others happy - This was one of the first recognisable jobs I had, and my customers were very satisfied. Now I do this only part-time...guess this job is the toughest. I can completely understand why you left a permanent job for a contract/temporary one. :)

Nice jobs you had. I always have great respect for people who experiment on their body ( like the operation your performed on your hand with the scissors) before trying it on other people :-)

Brave Heart and Rang De Basnthi I love. Notting Hill is OK. Never heard of 'About a boy" although head a lot about girls :-)

All the TV serials I like. Never been to Goa, Canada and Dubai.

Never heard of the Seven Easy steps to the Forbes list. I love the first two books. Never liked the 'for dummies' series.

Thai and seafood anything anytime anywhere; love them. I don't belong in the esteemed 'pasta n cheese' club. I am forbidden from eating those. And I hate chocolates.

Nice list MC.

Your post made me go back and check what all I had written.

Surprisingly I cribbed so much about not being able to travel and LO! God like paid special attention after that post I have been to:

1.Nagpur
2.Hyderabad
3.Bangalore
4.Coorg
5.Goa

Have plans to go for one long vacation to kerala or to the north this year end :)

Suddenly even i want to go to the places you described :)

You can read God of Small things AGAIN!! Somehow i could not manage to finish it once also. I distinctly remember hating it. Probably I should go back and read it again.
